Few plays are more beautiful and poetic than William Inge's classic love story, which
was updated to the 1950s and set to plenty of "golden oldies." Bubba and the
crew adapted one of the great sets in American theatre to the Black Box, building two
two-story houses on a yard of real grass to tell this bittersweet tale of love and regret. PICNIC had two eight-show runs, one in May and the other in October.
